- This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.603 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. However, Request for Quotation (RFQ) R11PS34239 will be issued simultaneously with this announcement to facilitate receipt of electronic quotes and to view all applicable clauses and attachments. The RFQ will be issued via www.fedbizops.gov at the link provided in this notice or check our website http://ideasec.nbc.gov. This RFQ is issued under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, and is being issued as a small business set-aside; however large businesses are encouraged to quote in the event that responsive small business quotes are not received. For this acquisition, North American Industrial Classification System code is 333911, Pump and Pump Equipment Manufacturing and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. This RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 2005-53. The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, Yuma, Arizona has a requirement for Floway Brand System Replacement Pumps. Award will be made to the lowest technically acceptable offeror. The RFQ contains the following: a description with quantities, Specifications/ Statement of Work and all applicable clauses and provisions. Hard copies of this RFQ will not be available. Quotes are due on September 2, 2011 at 1:00 pm (local time). All responsible sources may submit a quote which, if timely received, shall be considered. Quotes must be submitted electronically. Vendors are reminded that they must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration to be considered for award. Vendors can register at www.ccr.gov. You will need your Duns & Bradstreet number and banking information. Offerors will be required to complete the annual representation and certification electronically via the Online Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) website at http://orca.bnp.gov. In accordance with FAR 6.305(c), Availability of the Justification, the Brand Name Justification will be posted along with the Request for Quotes.
