- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division intends to issue a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Interspiro, Inc., 10225 82nd Avenue, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158-5800 for the acquisition of 75 ea Black Silicon Divator Mask Item 336-101-161. Interspiro is the only company that can provide an item which is compatible and/or interchangeable with existing equipment. This mask is part of the MK 24 Full Face Mask assembly which attaches to the face of the diver. Recent tests prove that the existing grey silicone mask leak helium, when used in mixed-gas diving. The black silicon masks are required in order to have properly functioning MK24 full face mask. The black silicon Divator mask from Interspiro satisfies the design deficiencies of the current gray silicon mask. Interspiro is the only vendor who can satisfy the design deficiencies and meet the form, fit and function compatibility with the existing full face mask assembly systems. If another vendor ™s silicone mask is selected, a delay to re-supply the SPECWAR Programs Fleet Supply requirements could be delayed up to (6) Six months. SBA Size Standard is 500 employees. Delivery will be made to Naval Support Activity, Panama City, FL 32407-7-18. Award will be based on a fair price and awarded on or about Sep 2, 2011.
