- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because there is only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements (FAR 6.302-1). See posted J&A for further information. This contract action was not awarded as a fixed price type because uncertainties involved in contract performance did not permit costs to be estimated with sufficient accuracy to use any type of fixed price contract. As such, a cost-reimbursement type action was awarded (FAR 16.301-2). This is a notice of the Government awarding an interim contract for Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center (DVBIC) support services to Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, 1401 Rockville Pike, Ste 600, Rocville, MD. The period of performance is 17 July 2011 - 17 January 2011 with a two month transition out period. Place of performance are various locations throughout CONUS.
