Please monitor this website for the complete solicitation. Then submit a quote if you have date and space availability. SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT : The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) requires guest rooms, meeting rooms, and hotel services of a qualified hotel in Washington, DC for the OCC's 2012 Career Forum Conference. The conference shall be held on a Tuesday and Wednesday or a Wednesday and Thursday during one of the following dates: 2012 Dates - MARCH March 5 - 7 March 6 - 8 March 12 - 14 March 13 - 15 March 19 - 21 March 20 - 22 March 26 - 28 March 27 - 29 2012 Dates - APRIL April 2 - 4 April 16 - 18 April 17 - 19 April 23 - 25 April 24 - 26 April 30 - May 2 2012 Dates -MAY May 1 - 3 May 7 - 9 May 8 - 10 May 14-16 May 15 - 17 May 21-23 May 22 - 24 2012 Dates - JUNE June 4 - 6 June 5 - 7 June 11 - 13 June 12 - 14 June 18 - 20 June 19 - 21 June 25 - 27 MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS : The hotel must 1) be compliant with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990, 15 U.S.C. 2201 et seq, (Public Law 101-391) and hold a FEMA certification number; 2) be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq. (ADA); and 3) have one of the following ratings: First class or higher per the Official Hotel Guide; three diamonds or higher per AAA; three crowns or higher per the OAG Business Travel Planner. HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION : The OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation through this web site no later than July 29, 2011. The solicitation document will contain the details of OCC's requirements, the instructions for submitting a quote, and how the quotes will be evaluated. THIRD PARTIES... If you submit a quote on behalf of a hotel, you must follow the instructions in Part IV of the RFQ. This is NOT a small business set-aside. It is a full and open competition using simplified acquisition procedures under the Commercial Item Test Program (FAR Subpart 13.5). All responsible hotels may submit a quote that will be considered by the OCC. OCC anticipates awarding the contract in October 2011.
