- Description
- The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Donco Inc. Pilot Hill, CA under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Donco Inc. is the manufacturer of the equipment. This procurement will be in accordance with FAR 12 & FAR 13. The requirement is for two (2) Easy Reel ER-200 portable winches and two (2) HR-200 (Wheeled) spare parts kits. The resulting contract will be firm fixed price with a thirty (30) day delivery period. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any inquires concerning this requirement is to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer.
