- FEDBIZOPP Notice for Plate Washer Dispenser The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award on a sole source basis a purchase order to Biotek Instruments, Winooski, VT. The purchase order is for the purpose of providing for Plate Wash Dispensers that meet the following requirements: 1) Have a plate stacker for automatic plate reading, 2) have a sonicator for autocleaning capability, 3) Have a gentle cell washing capability, and 4) allow for future needs including bead-based washing. The authority for this sole source is FAR 6-302-1- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 334516. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. However, firms that believe they can provide a Plate Washer Dispenser, that meets the above requirements, must submit written notification of interest and capability to the Contracting Specialist within 15 days from the publication date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries may be sent to Corina L.
