- In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5, this synopsis is posted for the United States Department of the Interior (DOI) Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement (BOEMRE) Acquisition Activity, Contracting Office for this procurement. This synopsis is to announce the Governments intent to award a sole source purchase order to Gemini Solutions., in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agencys requirements. (BOEMRE) Acquisition Activity anticipates awarding a contract to Gemini Solutions Inc. to support the Merlin Avalon Apprentice Maintenance Renewal project. The anticipated total value of this procurement is estimated to be approximately $25,472. Anticipated award date is no later than 31 August 2011. This is NOT a request for competitive proposals. The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. However, any and all information received by the point of contact (POC) listed below; by close of business, 29 August 2011 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
