Government Policy Letter The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform Movement of Government Furniture and Appliances COMFLEACT Sasebo in accordance with the terms and conditions of this contract and applicable Japanese laws and trade practices. The Contractor shall pick-up/deliver Government furniture and appliances to/from the residence when scheduled by the Government. The areas of performances are 1) On-Base within COMFLEACT Sasebo and within Hario Village, 2) Under 30 Kilometers radius from COMFLEACT Sasebo, 3) Over 30 and up to 60 kilometers radius from COMFLEACT Sasebo. The transportation rate includes but not limited to tolls, licenses, costs of Japanese holiday work, or for operations during stormy and or inclement weather as defined in the Performance-based Work Statement (PWS) as attached. Prices will be set per pound for each area of performance. The solicitation is exempted from set-aside for small business for all trucking service. A pre proposal conference as follows. Bidders/Offerors are requested to submit the names of all attendees (not to exceed 2 persons per company), the mode of travel, and questions to Ms Masayo Inoue, Contract Specialist, by fax or email, not later than 17 Aug 2011, 1300hrs. Date : Monday, 22 Aug 2011 Time : 13:00-15:00hrs Location: Room 109 of 374 Contracting Squadron (Bldg 620), Yokota, AB, Japan Remarks: * For those who need an escort to enter the base, please be at Gate # 15 where is Gate #12 opposite (Turn left towards the Kawagoe area on R16) by 12:15 with a picture ID showing your nationality (Passport or Juki-net card). Driver's license is accepted only when the two (2) personal identification numbers can be filled. Also please bring a copy of Vehicle Insurance Certification (Bodily injury 30,000,000 yen, Property Damage 3,000,000yen) if you come by car.
