- Bill of Materials OPM Specific Clauses Terms and Conditions This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.102 (g) and with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation number is: OPM32-11-R-0008 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates all mandatory commercial item provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53 dated July 5, 2011. This is a 100% Set Aside for Small Business The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 334112 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. This procurement is set aside exclusively for small business to submit quotations. The Office of Personnel Management, Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) requires the procurement of maintenance renewal for VMWare application used to apportion physical servers into multiple "virtual" environments. OPM intends to award one Firm-Fixed Price contract to the offeror that represents the best value to the government. The anticipated delivery date is expected to be within thirty (30) days from the date of award. Communications will offer officials outside of Contracting may compromise the competitiveness of this acquisition and result in the cancellation of the requirement. Offerors are invited to submit their quotations to the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) Contracting Group in response to this notice by 1:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), August 15, 2011. Quotations submitted in response to this notice shall include the solicitation number in the subject line and be signed, dated and submitted via email to Merwin.charles@opm.gov. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and be certified as a small business to be considered for award.
