- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is EA133M-11-RQ-1303. The NOAA, Marine Operations Center, 439 West York Street, Norfolk, Virginia has a requirement for the following requirement: 1. Computers, Rack mounted Industrial in accordance with the following specifications. 5 EA tiny_mce_marker______/EA tiny_mce_marker_________TOTAL DELIVERY DATE: October 31, 2011 The Workstation OS software/hardware minimum requirements are as follows: 1. Operating System - Windows7 Professional 64 Bit Downgrade rights, MS WIN XP 2. CPU - XEON E5606 2.13GHZ C4 1366 RET. Total 2X XEON processors per system. 3. Video - FIREGL V8600 1GD4 X16 2DVI 4. Memory - 8GB or greater 5. Hard Drives - 500GB SATA2 10000RPM 16MB VEL. Total 2X 500GB hard drives per system. 6. Optical Disk Drive -24X DVD±RW DUAL LAYER 8. Computer chassis - Industrial 4U Chassis ROHS 7. eSATA ports - 2 Port PCI Express eSATA Controller Adapter Card 8. Motherboard PCI Card Slots - 2 PCI-X, 1 PCI, and 1 PCI-E 9. Motherboard external ports - 2 NICs, 2 Serial, and 2 eSATA interface 10. Rack mounted rails - 20" Sliding rails for 4U chassis 11. USB Keyboard and optical mouse 12. Power Supply - 1050W Modular PSU 80+ 13. One year warranty on parts and labor In order to comply with the debt collection improvement act of 1966, ALL CONTRACTORS must be registered in the central contractor registration (CCR) to be considered for an award of a federal contract. For information regarding registration in CCR contact the CCR website at www.ccr.gov/index.cfm. The government encourages all contractors to submit their Certification and Representation thru the on-line Business Partner Network (BPN). This is 100% Set Aside for Small Businesses. The FSC for this is 7021 and the NAICS Code is 334111, small business size standard is 1,000 people. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the agency. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition and the following additional FAR clauses cited in the clause at paragraph (b) are applicable to this acquisition, as such consider the following clauses checked, (11), (21), (24), (25), (26), (27), (36), (37), (40), and (45).
