Description
Formal communication related to this acquisition should be directed to Stephanie Hutchens, Contracting Officer. Fax or email your request to stephanie.a.hutchens@us.army.mil; fax number 256-955-8601. No telephone requests will be accepted. The Government has a requirement for the following: PRON: D11V0225D1, NSN: 5855-01-463-4579; APN: 13588745, Quantity: 75 each min, 275 each max, applicable to the Improved Bradley Acquisition System. Required delivery is 245 Days after Contract Award (DACA) with Contractor First Article Testing and a delivery schedule of 100 days without first article testing. This item is limited to DRS Sensors & Targeting Systems (Cage Code 32865), Raytheon Company (Cage Code 96214), and Elcan Optical Technologies (Cage Code 1SDY4) because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS DATA THAT CANNOT BE RELEASED EXCEPT TO GOVERNMENT AGENCIES. NO DOCUMENTATION IS BEING RELEASED WITH THIS SOLICITATION. ACQUISITION DOCUMENTATION IS SOLE SOURCE TO THE RESTRICTED SOURCE OF SUPPLY.
