- Description
- Develop a Private Equity Reporting System (PERS) for Administration of Emerging Market PE Investment Funds Portfolio The Overseas Private Investment Corporation ("OPIC" or, the "Agency"), a self-sustaining development agency of the U.S. Government, is seeking information from a private equity ("PE") services company (the "Vendor") to develop, in consultation with the Agency's Investment Funds Department ("IFD") and the Office of Chief Information Officer ("OCIO"), a PE reporting system (the "PERS") for the administration of its emerging market PE investment funds portfolio through all phases of a fund's life cycle (the "OPIC Funds Portfolio"), including fund data collection, tracking, performance measurement and reporting. The Vendor should have significant industry knowledge of P/E front-, middle- and back-office operations, and demonstrable experience and track record in developing data platforms in addition to the provisioning of back office reporting and administration services for PE fund managers (i.e. general partners, or GPs) and fund investors (i.e. limited partners, or LPs). Preference will be given to vendors with significant experience in developing PE data systems for development financial institutions ("DFIs") and other government institutions that track both financial and non-financial returns, i.e. development impact, such as environment impact, social responsibility, corporate governance, and U.S. and host country economic impact ("Development Impact Data"). DFIs include International Finance Corporation, Asian Development Bank, Africa Development Bank, Export Development Canada, Inter-American Development Bank, the Netherlands Development Finance Company and German Investment Corporation, among others.
