- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center-Knox (MICC Center-Knox) intends to issue a request for quotation (RFQ) for the Lodging, Meals and Conference support for the 6th Medical Recruiting Battalion, in the Las Vegas Nevada area. This solicitation will unrestricted, all responsible and responsive businesses may submit an offer for consideration. The NAICS Code is 721110 (Size Standard: $30.0M) applies to this procurement. The period of performance is 17-20 November 2011. The RFQ will be posted to the MICC Center-Knox homepage at http://doc.knox.army.mil and the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about 12 August 2011 with quotes due on or about 26 August 2011. These dates are subject to change. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted on the MICC Center-Knox website and the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fbo.gov. Contractors are cautioned to check the website periodically for amendments. Solicitation mailing list will not be compiled. The solicitation and amendments will not be sent out in paper copy. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award of a contract. Faxed offers and amendments will not be accepted. All questions must be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist and, received by 11 August 2011, may be e-mailed to Elizabeth Mudd at elizabeth.a.mudd@us.army.mil.
