- Description
- Seals, Gaskets, and O-Rings DLA Land & Maritime Philadelphia will be soliciting requests for proposals from business entities interested in supporting worldwide demand of various Federal Stock Class (5330 & 5331) items where General Electric Company is considered an approved source or acceptable source. Solicitation SPM5M-11-R-0002 is being issued to support this initiative for depot stock replenishment. This initiative will be awarded under FAR Part 12 Commercial Items procedures. Radio Frequency Identification is required. The initial solicitation will require pricing for 57 core NSNs. If the need arises to add additional items, this will be completed on a post award basis via the Add / Delete Clause. The delivery requirement will be 120 days. The first NSN is 5331-00-117-4863. Subject solicitation will be issued as unrestricted with the resultant being an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for one (1) base year and two (2) additional one-year options. In determining contract awards, the Contracting Officer will make an assessment of the offeror's past performance and quoted price. Tools such as the Automated Best Value System (ABVS) could be used during this process. Solicitation SPM5M-11-R-0002 is expected to be issued approximately 10 August 2011 at https://www.dibs.bsm.dla.mil. No hard copies of the solicitation will be available. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
