- Description
- The VA National Acquisition Center intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) VA-797-11-RP-0164 under the competitive negotiated procedures for Methocarbamol. Please see the item and estimated annual usage listed below. The estimated annual usage includes Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DOD), Indian Health Services (IHS), and Federal Healthcare Center (FHCC). The contract period will be for the base year and two option years. The contract item will be distributed through VA and DOD respective Pharmaceutical Prime Vendors. Award will be made in the aggregate for line items 1A, 1B, 1C, and 1D for the base year and two options. To be considered for award, offerors are required to submit a proposal for the base year and two option periods. Proposals that fail to include prices for the base year and the two, one-year options on which an offer is made will be rejected and receive no further consideration. Products offered must be FDA compliant. Offerors must state the exact (name that appears on label) by which the drug will be supplied and products proposed must have unique 11-digit NDC number. Tablets must be compatible with automated dispensing units (Baxter ATC Canister, OptiFill, etc). If the offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer. Solicitation VA-797-11-RP-0164 closes on August 19, 2011.
