- The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Jacksonville District, is soliciting proposals for the purchase of 22,000 tons of breach stone and 5,000 tons of choke stone. The NAICS code will be 212311 - Dimension Stone Mining and Quarrying, size standard is 500 Employees. Mailing address is 701 San Marco Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32207-8175. This acquisition will be unrestricted. The Contractor shall provide breach stone and choke stone in accordance with the Description of Supplies (DOS). The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide 22,000 tons of breach stone and 5,000 tons of choke stone. A firm-fixed price commercial item contract is considered for this acquisition. The contract award will be a lump sum. The rock will be delivered to an area around Lake Harbor, Florida, by the Herbert Hoover Dike. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested vendors must REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. If you are not registered, the Government is not responsible with providing you with notification of any changes to this solicitation. In addition, in order to generate a Plan Holders List, all interested bidders must also REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR which is also located on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Registration Requirements: DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR), applies to this procurement. You must be registered in the CCR in order to be eligible to receive an award from this solicitation. Information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Department of Defense CCR database prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
