- Beverage Soliciation The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of bag-in-box beverages and liquid concentrated coffee, dispensing equipment and service for the Federal Medical Center and Federal Prison Camp, located at 3301 Leestown Road, Lexington, Kentucky. Estimated yearly contract requirements includes 2,400 five gallon bag-in-box and 400 gallons of coffee (finished product) per year. The NAICS code for this procurement is 312111 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The contract shall consist of a base year with (4) four (12) twelve month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 10, 2011 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is August 26, 2011. Anticipated effective date of award is October 1, 2011. This will be a full and open competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
