- This is a large acquisition for NSN 6140-01-380-7932. Drawings/specifications will be available through the DIBBS solicitation link in the synopsis on the solicitation issue date. Items will be solicited I/A/W Drawing Number 18876 10101336. This solicitation will be issued on 08/26/11. This requirement is for a quantity of 397 each. The Government's requested delivery is 390 days which includes a Contractor's First Article Test of 1 unit in 90 days and the Government evaluation of 30 days. FOB is destination and inspection/acceptance is at origin. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of 08/26/11. The requirement is for a quantity of 233 units to Tracy, CA W62G2T and 164 units to New Cumberland, PA W25G1U. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Based on market research, the Government is not using the posicies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify the Contracting Officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item with in 15 days of this notice. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to agreement on Government procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. Dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees.
