NSN(s): 5985-01-184-8510 Item Description: Switch, Radio Frequency Transmission CRITICAL APPLICATION ITEM I/A/W QAP 16236 SQAP011848510 REFNO AMEND NR A DTD 03/22/07 TYPE NUMBER I/A/W DRAWING NR 81755 C8903 BASIC AMEND NR AY DTD 06/28/01 TYPE NUMBER C8903-7 Quantity: Various quantity increments solicited 1 to 3, 4 to 10, 11 to 18, 19 And UP Unit of Issue: EA Destination Information: Various DLA stocking locations. Delivery Schedule: Specified on individual delivery orders. All responsible sources may submit an offer/proposal which shall be considered. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns The Small Business size standard is 750 employees Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The solicitation will be available at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on its issue date of August 12, 2011. Drawings/specifications, plans are available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 2 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
