- The United States Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Northeast Fisheries Science Center in Woods Hole, MA is soliciting quotes for the below mentioned Fishing Vessel Safety and Survival Apparel. This is a combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number NFFM7210-11-06334, in accordance with guidelines of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 451110, with a size standard of $7,000,000 in average annual receipts. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) will award a Firm Fixed Price type contract based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. This requirement may result in mulitple awards.
