- Description
- The Department of Labor on behalf of the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management intends to award a Sole Source contract to FedProcure Inc., located in Jacksonville, Florida for safety and health support services. This action will result in a labor hour contract with a period of performance of one (1) base month and one (1) option month. Period of Performance - September 10, 2011 - October 9, 2011. Option Period One - October 10, 2011 - November 9, 2011 The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide safety and health support services. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate the required services with limited sources IAW with FAR, Part 6.302-1(c) - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals. Phone calls will not be accepted. Interested parties may express their interest and provide a capabilities statement NLT August 12, 2011, at 3:00 PM EST. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that additional competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
