- Synopsis with part descriptions and numbers The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, Maryland, Competency 5.3 requires the acquisition of shock-mitigating seats, pedestals and reel harness systems, compatible with existing Stidd Systems seats (see table below for descriptions and part numbers). The Government intends to negotiate solely with Stidd Systems, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The NAICS code for this requirement is 336611 (size standard 1,000), and PSC code is 2090. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may submit a capability statement for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement. The Government will consider all capability statements received in response to this notice. The Government reserves the right to process this procurement as a sole source based on the responses received.
