- Department of Veterans Affairs Network 17 construction unit, is anticipating the issuance of an Invitation for Bid solicitation. The project will take place at the Audie L. Murphy memorial Veterans Hospital located at 7400 Merton Minter, San Antonio, TX, 78229. This requirement is a competitive solicitation, set aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), under Public Law 109-461 (38 USC 8127). The proposed performance of work will consist of all material and labor necessary to renovate sections of the ALMD Podiatry Waiting Area. Additional details will be forthcoming if and when a solicitation is issued. Medical operations are currently ongoing at this location. This is a Pre-Solicitation announcement only. Solicitation documents are not currently available, the solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about August 15, 2011 with a bid due date of on or about September 26, 2011. Award is expected to be made on or before September 30, 2011. Be advised offerors will be required to submit both a technical and pricing bid. Solicitation shall contain proposal instructions. A Pre-Proposal Conference and Project Site Visit will be held at the Audie L. Murphy memorial hospital. The time, date, and location of this conference will be included in the solicitation documents. Construction magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The applicable NACIS Code for this requirement 236220, $33.5 Million.
