- The FAA has constructed a new ATCT at the airport and requires a new single mode fiber optic cable to connect it with the RT and ASR on the airport in PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA. In addition, the RT has no grounding and will require a counterpoise and ground plates to bring it up to current standards. This solicitation will be awarded according to the TIERED EVALUATION METHOD of procurement. In short, everyone is welcomed to submit an offer regardless of the size of business, but there will be an order of preference given to certain sizes of business. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
