Description
(I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written quotes on RFQ Number NRMAG000-11-03499DG. (III) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-30. (IV) This procurement will be set aside for small business. The associated NAICS code is 541519. The small business size standard is 150 employees. (V) This combined solicitation/synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial item(s)/services: CLIN 01: Qty two (2) each 9923-18520 NETVAULT BACKUP PLUGIN FOR FILE SYSTEM CLUSTER PER MACHINE ID LICENSE/MAINT - 12 Months CLIN 02: Qty two (2) each 9923-18522 NETVAULT BACKUP PLUGIN FOR FILE SYSTEM CLUSTER PER MACHINE ID MAINTENANCE RENEWAL (5 months - To co-terminate 12/21/2012 with existing license) CLIN 03: Qty three (3) each 9923-18568 NETVAULT NDMP PLUGIN >80TB TOTAL USABLE DISK CAPACITY BY DEVICE CAPACITY LICENSE/MAINT CLIN 04: Qty three (3) each 9923-18570 NETVAULT NDMP PLUGIN >80TB TOTAL USABLE DISK CAPACITY BY DEVICE CAPACITY MAINTENANCE RENEWAL (5 Months - To co-terminate 12/21/2012 with existing license) NetVault is required to work with existing products & systems currently located and in use by the National Severe Storms Laboratory. (VI) Place of delivery is National Severe Storms Laboratory, 120 David L. Boren Blvd., Norman, Oklahoma, 73072. Delivery shall be 10 Days ARO, FOB Destination. (VII) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (June 2008), applies to this acquisition. (VIII) FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items (Jan 1999), applies to this acquisition. Offers will be evaluated on price and the factors set forth in paragraph (a), and award will be made to the firm offering the best value to the Government. Paragraph (a) is herby completed as follows: Award will be made to Contractor whose quote offers the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. The Government will evaluate quotations based on the follow evaluation criteria: 1) Technical Compatibility, 2) Price and (3) Delivery. (IX) The offeror must submit a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (Feb 2009), with its quote. An offeror shall complete only paragraph (b) of this provision if the offeror has completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov. If an offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at the ORCA website, the offeror shall complete only paragraphs (c) through (m) of this provision. (X) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items (Oct 2008), applies to this acquisition. (XI) The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items (Feb 2009) applies to this acquisition.
