- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division plans to procure, on an other than full and open competition basis IAW FAR 6.303-2(a)(4), a replacement part, manufactured solely by King Nutronics a small business. This replacement part is an actual direct replacement part/component for the existing pressure calibrator. The proprietary data limits our competition since these parts and only these parts meet the government s minimum requirements. There are currently no authorized distributors for the King Nutronics parts. These parts are critical for the safe operation and testing of equipment. The King Nutronic part required to meet the Government s requirement is: QTYMNFCTR Part #Description 100King 3460-7-1Quick Disconnect Assembly Nutronicswith Dust Plug. This requirement will be awarded on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR Part 6.301-1(c). This is not a request for quotes, however; any responsible source having the technical capabilities to meet the requirement described may submit a quote along with their technical capabilities to include complete and detailed technical specifications of their product, past performance information, price, and lead time for consideration via email to: Marlena.warren@navy.mil. Award is scheduled on or around August 18, 2011.
