- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Eaton Leaonard Systems, for the procurement of SERD 1884, P/N 247709, Tube Bender Tool Set. This a spare parts buy in support of the CV-22 Aircraft program. The Government intends to procure the above item under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The drawings and technical data that the Government currently possess are currently marked with limited data rights and do not permit full and open competition. Eaton Leonard is both the OEM of these parts and the equipment that has been delivered and fielded. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this synopsis in writing that may be used by the government to determine whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
