- Description
- The U.S. Department of the Interior, National Business Center, Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD) on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Financial Services Center (VA-FSC), intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) to solicit Invoice Payment Processing System (IPPS) Configuration Services. The VA-FSC is currently utilizing the Pegasystems SmartBPM 6tm suite (Pega BPM) and has an existing Application Profile for the IPPS. The VA-FSC requires Pega BPM specialized expertise in areas including project management, business architecture, system architecture, and expertise in systems design and implementation, testing, training, and documentation, with a minimum of three years experience. The Contractor shall provide IPPS Configuration Services, using the Pegasystems Process Rules Process Commander (PRPC) version 6.2 and the existing IPPS Application Profile to develop a unified invoice payment processing platform. The Government Intends to solicit for these services using simplified acquisition procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The estimated period of performance will be from date of award through eight (8) months. The Request for Quote will be for the potential award of a Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541512 Computer Systems Design Services with a Size Standard of $25 million. The competitive RFQ, any RFQ amendments, and questions and answers related to this procurement will be available via the Internet at http://www.aqd.nbc.gov/solicitations under RFQ number D11PS18862. The solicitation (RFQ) is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or around August 23, 2011 and will only be available via the Internet at the above website. Potential Offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant Purchase Order.
