- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Benning, Georgia intends to issue a solicitation for a contract to provide facility operations, maintenance, repair, and minor construction services to support the US Army Garrison (USAG) Miami, a secure Army Installation at 9301 NW 33rd Street, Doral, FL 33172. Services are needed for a period of one year with four (4) one year renewable option periods. This acquisition will be set-aside for qualified 8(a) vendors on a competitive basis. The designated NAICS Code is 561210, Facilities Support Services, with a size standard of $35.5 million. The solicitation will be issued as a request for proposal (RFP) utilizing commercial item procedures IAW FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15. The Government will award one hybrid Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) with Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) CLINs contract for the performance of these services. Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process will be utilized to obtain the best value for the government. The government anticipates release of the solicitation on or about 30 August 2011, with a proposal due date of 30 September 2011. These are projected dates and are subject to change. Electronic proposals will not be accepted. The Government will not reimburse Offerors for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. The Government will not provide a hard copy of the solicitation. This solicitation and all amendments will be issued through Federal Business Opportunities website (FedBizOpps) at http://www.fbo.gov/. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon all interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The government reserves the right to award without discussions therefore; the offerors initial proposal shall contain its best terms. A site visit for the Miami BASOPS requirement will be held at Miami, Florida. The date and time for the site visit will be provided in the solicitation or subsequent amendments. All contractors are encouraged to attend the site visit; however, attendance will be limited to two attendees per company/Entity. Interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to receive a government contract award. You may register with the CCR at http://www.ccr.gov/.
