- Sole Source Intent. The U.S. Army Mission & Installation Contracting Command Center (MICC)-Yuma Proving Ground located in Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract to EDX Wireless LLC, 101 E Broadway, Eugene OR 97401-3114. This contract will be for the procurement of the following items: 1 each EDX SignalPro, 1 each Network Design Add-on Module and 1 each Dongle Hardware Key. The software being requested must match exactly to ensure the results are consistent with past, current and future results. No other software product is deemed compatible with the functionality currently being used by the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona. EDX Wireless LLC is the only company which makes EDX SignalPro and retains all the proprietary rights to their software. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511210 with a size standard of $25.0 Million. Any award resulting from this requirement will be issued pursuant to FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures- FAC 2005-53 effective 04 August 2011. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet these requirements by 12 Aug 2011 8:00 AM MST.
