- Special Notice - Intent to award Sole Source (i) This is a special notice for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. Quotes are not being requested. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Information Technology Contracting Division, DISA Services Section (PL8311), Scott AFB, IL, intends to issue a sole source purchase order IAW FAR Part 6.302-1(b)(1)(i) to MC Dean, Inc., Baltimore Convention Center, One West Pratt St. Baltimore MD 21201 for the purchase of the following CLINs:. (ii) CLIN 0001: ( iii) DISA intends to award a sole source purchase order to MC Dean, Inc. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1); The agency's need can only be satisfied by unique services available from only one source with unique capabilities - the services of MC Dean are required at the Baltimore Convention Center as the Center's preferred vendor. (iv) Authorized resellers who can provide the above listed requirement must submit a capability statement within 7 business days of this notice. Oral communications are not acceptable. (v) The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-53. (vi) The NAICS code is 541519, the size standard is $25M (vii) N/A (viii) Location is One West Pratt St., Baltimore Convention Center, Baltimore MD 21201; Period of performance is 13 August 2011-31 August 2011.
