- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This announcement constitutes only the pre-solicitation notice; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued on or around 22 August 2011. Solicitation number FA4600-11-B-0020 is being issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB). Funds are available for this project for Repair Substation 13 & 14, B500, SGBP 10-0007. Offeror should note funds are reasonably assured for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available and approved by HQ/ACC. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the date. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53. All applicable provision and clauses are included in the actual solicitation. This electronic announcement constitutes the only pre-solicitation notice being issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237130, and the small business size standard is $14M; this will be set-aside 100% Small Business set-aside. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price construction contract with a period of performance (POP) of 560 days to provide the following project: Provide all supervision, personnel, equipment, transportation, material, and other items and services necessary to replace substations 13&14 in B500 G Wing; work will require some HVAC and ventilation; also, some remote control work using fiber optic from the power plant. Please reference solicitation #FA4600-11-B-0020 on all correspondence. Project magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Notice to Offerors, the Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. All contractors shall be ORCA registered http://orca.bpn.gov. All contractors are reminded, in accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration; contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. If the Offeror does not successfully register in the CCR database in the time prescribed by the Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officer will proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered Offeror. NO PARTIAL QUOTES WILL BE CONSIDERED. NO PARTIAL AWARDS WILL BE MADE. Please acknowledge all requirements of the solicitation in the quotes.
