- Drawings - Replace Fire Pumps B. 247 & 248 Specifications - Replace Fire Pumps B. 247 & 248 Statement of Work - Replace Fire Pumps B.247 & 248 Eglin AFB, FL has a requirement to replace Fire Pumps in two (2) buildings. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238220 and the size standard is $14.0M. This Acquisition is Total Small Business Set-Aside. This is Tradeoff Source Selection Process using only Past Performance and Price, and award will be made based upon the best value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 15. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. All responsible Small Businesses may submit an offer that shall be considered by the agency. This project includes but is not limited to the following: removal of one diesel fire pump, one electric fire pump and all existing fire protection equipment. This will follow with upgrades to Bldg 247 and placement of two new electric fire pumps, valves, piping, etc. Bldg 247 will be supplied with a wet pipe fire suppression system. A new tank level and temperature detection system shall be installed on the water storage tank, Bldg 248, along with new post indicating valve. The work includes all the electrical and fire alarm work to support the new pumps installation. The Period of Performance is 180 calendar days ADC. The above general description does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials and equipment to complete the project in accordance with the Statement of Work, Plans and Specifications. The work is located at Eglin AFB, FL. The estimated dollar range is between $250,000 and $500,000. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available through the Government Wide Point of Entry (WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV) on 5 August 2011. The proposal due date is on 6 September 2011. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) (https://ORCA.BPN.GOV) Database prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR or ORCA Databases will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. Funds are currently not available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available to make payments under a contract. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the receipt of the proposal, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government. Point of Contact, April R.
