- BRIEF WORK DESCRIPTION: Regional Training Site UBM Painting Provide all materials, labor and equipment to shot blast, primer & top coat exterior of three metal buildings, two ends and ribbed areas throughout entire structure. Set up and prep three Universal Buildings (55' x 107') for shot blast. Blast "ALL" metal to SP-6 commercial blast. Blow down, inspect and prep for primer coat. Apply one coat prime (Per Manufacturer Specs). Inspect primer coat for consistency and prep for top coat application. Apply 2 coats of finish top coat (Per Manufacturer Specs).Inspect Top / Finish coat. Clean job site & remove used materials PART 1 PRODUCTS 1.1 MANUFACTURERS 1.2 Coatings Manufacturer: Sherwin Williams Industrial & Marine Coatings or equal. 1.3 Primer A. PRO - CRYL Universal Primer or Equal 1.4 Paint A. SPRAYLASTIC Exterior Semi-Gloss Waterborne Dryfall or Equal 1.5 FIELD QUALITY CONTROL A. Coating manufacturer's representative to verify that installation is in conformance to the manufacturer's recommendations. 1.6 PROTECTION AND CLEANING A. Immediately remove coatings that fall on surrounding areas and surfaces not scheduled to be coated. B. Protect installed products until completion of project. C. Touch-up, repair or replace damaged products before Substantial Completion. D. Remove temporary coverings and protection of surrounding areas and surfaces.
