- Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri, intends to issue RFQP04141100028 for 200 each LC Doane (brand only) USB173-XCW-120-EL-16/32-TPK Security Fixtures, 16 each Williams (brand only) 12-2-232U-SA12125-EB2-120 Surface Fixture, and 40 each Williams (brand only) 17-4-232-A-EB2-120 Two Lamp Wrap Fixtures. Various other non-specific brand parts required to install the above lighting include switch covers, commercial grade single poleswitchs, lead expansion anchors, greelee hollow wall sets, wire, fender washers, machine head screws, wire nuts, fluorescent lamps, and stainless steel button head allen screws. All awarded items must be shipped FOB Destination (shipping included in the price, or otherwise delivered at no additional cost) to the Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, located at 1900 W. Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri. The solicitation will be available on or about August 11, 2011, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov. This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 423610, with a small business standard of 100 employees. All responsible small business sources are encouraged to submit a quotation which will be considered for award. Award will be made to the responsible contractor whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government based on price related factors. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is on or about August 25, 2010. Payments will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Per FAR 52.212-3, each offeror may complete their representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov. If an offeror has not completed the annual representation and certifications online, then the offeror shall submit a hard-copy with their quotation. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts.
