Description

The Contract Office, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Atlantic Diving Supply, Inc. cage code (1CAY9) the manufacturer is HDT Expeditionary Systems, Inc. cage code (0JKN0) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Marine Wing Support Group 27, MCAS Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for a Diesel Air Compress P/N V00-010-767 to be used with a AirBeam Shelter Model 2032, manufacturered by HDT. Market research has revealed this contractor is the only source capable of providing the required items. Therefore, the government intends to procure these supplies on a sole source basis from Atlantic Diving Supply, Inc. an authorized reseller for HDT. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all quotes received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered. Interested parties may identify their interest and unique capabilities to respond to this requirement or submit their quote. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
