- Sources Sought only. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Durham VA Medical Center, located at 800 Capitola Drive Unit 2 Durham, NC 27713, currently has the need for a contractor(s) provide removal/disposal services of all Hazardous Chemical Waste for the Durham VA Medical Center. Removal and disposal service will include a variety of chemical waste streams including mixed waste (biohazard/hazardous) but will not include the disposal of radioactive materials or PCB's. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the socioeconomic categories and any pertinent information which demonstrates firms ability to meet the above requirement.Vendors are encouraged to provide brief capability statements/ prior work within the scope of work being requested. This synopsis is not a solicitation announcement for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this announcement.
