- SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE TO HUMANETICS INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS, INC FOR MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF LOAD CELLS USED ON THE ANTHROPOMORPHIC TEST DEVICE The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division), Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with Humanetics Innovative Solutions, Inc, 47460 Galleon Drive, Plymouth, MI 48170. The contractor shall provide maintenance, calibration, repair and parts for a period of one year, with 2 one year options, on proprietary load cells that are used in the Anthropomorphic Test Device. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 33999 and the size standard is 500 employees. Interested persons may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 3:00 PM, Eastern Daylight Time, August 16, 2011. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers.
