- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/ SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS (IAW FAR 12.603 (c)) (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation/synopsis reference number is F1MTN11189A001 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The RFQ format is attached to this combination solicitation synopsis that will used to submit quotes. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53, effective 5 July 2011. (iv) This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 333415 with a 750 employee size standard. (v) Contractors shall submit a quote for purchase and testing of 140 ton Air cooled chiller located on Joint Base Charleston, SC. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. The minimum salient characteristics: See PWS (vi) F1MTN11189A001 Purchase and testing of 140 ton Air cooled chiller on Joint Base Charleston-Weapons Station, Goose Creek, SC. Note: determine evaluation criteria and modify clause as required. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers in the following relative order of importance: 1. Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement. 2. Price. The Government will evaluate the total price of the offer for the award purposes. Technical factors are significantly more important than price.
