- Statement of Work This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334513. The requirement is for the following items: CLIN 0001: Base year to repair and upgrade CG-5 200 series gravimeters to CG-5 600 series - QTY 3 EA. In accordance with the State of Work attached. Period of Performance: Date of Award through 365 days. CLIN 1001: Option year 1 for maintenance on upgraded CG-5 600 series - QTY 3 EA. IAW Statement of Work paragraph 5.2. Period of Performance: 366 days from Date of Award through 731 days. CLIN 2001: Option year 2 for maintenance on upgraded CG-5 600 series - QTY 3 EA. IAW Statement of Work paragraph 5.2. Period of Performance: 732 days from Date of Award through 1097 days. CLIN 3001: Option year 3 for maintenance on upgraded CG-5 600 series - QTY 3 EA. IAW Statement of Work paragraph 5.2. Period of Performance: 1098 days from Date of Award through 1463 days. CLIN 4001: Option year 4 for maintenance on upgraded CG-5 600 series - QTY 3 EA. IAW Statement of Work paragraph 5.2. Period of Performance: 1464 days from Date of Award through 1829 days. BRAND NAME JUSTIFICATION: NGA has a requirement for the brand name upgrade, repair, and maintenance coverage as outlined above. All of the products referenced in this posting are proprietary products of Scintrex. The Scintrex CG-5 200 series are already in use at NGA, and only Scintrex can provide updates to their gravimeters. The Scintrex upgrade and repair is the only upgrade and repair that fulfills the salient features of this requirement at this time. NOTE: In order to submit a quote, you must be the manufacturer or an authorized reseller for Scintrex upgrades, repairs, and maintenance.
