- The US Marine Corps Air Station Miramar (San Diego, CA 92145) has a requirement for the hydrostatic testing and maintenance on 68 empty 150 pound 1211 Halon cylinders and carriage carts. This requirement does not include the evacuation of, or filling of, Halon 1211. Note: Quantities listed in Soliciation M6786511T0018 are historical estimates. Cylinders and Cylinder Carriages will require an inspection and report of required work, approved by the Contracting Officer, prior to proceeding with repairs and maintenance. Proposals are due no later than 1200n PST August 18, 2011 by email (George.Woerner@usmc.mil; 3 mb package limit) or FAX (858-577-1492) only. Questions about this requirement will be taken by EMAIL ONLY until 1200n PST August 16, 2011. Please completely read the attached Solicitation prior to contacting the Contracting Officer. The successful small business vendor will provide best pricing and expedited service, as all requested services must be accomplished prior to September 27, 2011. Please factor this deadline into your Proposal pricing. Please provide your companys CAGE and DUNS numbers, along with company information and past performance with other Government agencies or civilian entities with similarly-sized and type of requirement. The award criteria for this requirement includes ability to perform to the exact requirement of the Government, price, delivery and past performance. The Government has set-aside this award for Small Business.
