Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Becton, Dickinson Company (aka BD Biosciences), 2350 Qume Drive, San Jose, CA 95131-1807, for continued maintenance of the following equipment: LSAFortessa (no lasers), serial H80000008; Laser Sapphire 488-50 Blue, #NO-SERIAL-5880; Lightwave Xcyte 60WW UV LSRS, #NO-SERIAL-6367; Laser COHR Cube 640-40 Red, #NO-SERIAL-5882; Laser Violet 405-100, #NO-SERIAL-5882; Yellow/Green 561-150mv, #NO-SERIAL-5883; FACS Flow Supply System, #N2890. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
