- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice for synopsis of "Visitor Control Specialist Services" for Davis-Monthan AFB (DMAFB), Arizona. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, management, materials, equipment and all other tools necessary to perform Visitor Control Services for DMAFB. The contractor shall perform these duties in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and all other required regulatory guidance. This acquisition will be solicited as a competitive RFP, request for proposal utilizing FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. A Firm Fixed Price contract will result from this solicitation. Award selection will be based on Price. Period of performance will be for a base period and three (3) one-year option periods. This acquisition has been Set-Aside for eligible business concerns in the Small Business Administrations Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification System Code is 561612; and, the small business size standard is $18.5 million. The RFP Number is FA4877-11-R-0014 and shall be issued on or about 8 August 2011, posted electronically on the Federal Business Opportunity website (https://www.fbo.gov). No paper copies will be issued; no telephone request will be honored and no bidder's mailing list will be maintained. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website (http://www.ccr.gov) or by contacting CCR Customer Service Contact Information at 1-888-227-2423. Please Note - The subsequent award of this requirement shall not be held up by the government waiting for a firm to be properly registered. All responsible SDVOSB concerns may submit a proposal to the 355th Contracting Squadron.
