- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Mission and Installation Command Contracting Center, Fort Knox, intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for facilities, equipment, supplies, management, supervision and labor to provide lodging accommodations, meal services, conference rooms and audiovisual services for the U.S. Army Recruiting Battalion Annual Training Conference (ATC) in the Downtown Jacksonville, Florida 32202 area. Period of performance is from 2 - 4 December 2011. This solicitation will be posted to the MICC Center- Fort Knox homepage at http://doc.knox.army.mil and the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov on or about 04 August 2011 with offers due on 26 August 2011. These dates are subject to change. Paper copies of the RFQ will not be available. All documentation can and must be downloaded from the website above. This solicitation will be procured unrestricted. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award of a contract. Faxed offers or amendments will not be accepted. All offers must be submitted in writing to Mrs. Johnna Pollock via email at mary.pollock@us.army.mil or submitted through the Federal Business Opportunities website.
