- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), NAS Patuxent River, MD intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price order with Lockheed Martin Manassas under the Basic Ordering Agreement, N00019-09-G-0014. The projected orders will consist of a Retrofit effort for the ARR-89 Software Defined Sonobuoy Receivers (SDSR's) in the Single Card Configuration to the ARR-89A SDSR Four Card Configuration; Retrofit effort for the AN/USQ-78(V) Systems in the System Controller Tech Refresh (SCTR) (CP-2590) Configuration with Acoustic Processor Tech Refresh (APTR) Retrofit Kits as well as Fleet Support. This requirement will be procured in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements." Lockheed Martin is the only known source with the knowledge, experience, expertise and proprietary technical data to successfully perform these tasks.
