- The Class III cultural resource survey is a total of 332 acres (106 linear acres (30 meters x 8.8 non-continuous miles) and two block survey areas with a total of 226 acres (Block survey area 1 includes 186 acres and Block survey area 2 includes 40 acres)) which includes trails in the Castle Rock Area. The trails are to be surveyed to a width of at least 30 meters in 10-15 meter intervals. During the linear surveys, one individual will be required to walk the trail tread itself to observe direct impacts on sites that the trails may be impacting. The block areas needs to be surveyed by parallel transects with spacing no greater than 10-15 meters between transects.
