- Modificaton no. 5 to Solicitation RFPP06161000001A incorporates the following changes: Solicitation RFPP06161000001A has been cancelled and replaced with RFQP06161100024 for all future references to the acquisition of Potable Water Services at the Federal Correctional Complex in Victorville, California. In accordance with F.A.R. 6.302-1 and the City of Victorville, California Municipal Code, Title 10, Water and Sewers, the Federal Bureau of Prisons has made a determination that Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to make a sole source award to the City of Victorville for the provision of Potable Water Services at FCC Victorville. In accordance with F.A.R. 5.202, Exceptions, The Contracting Officer need not submit the notice required by 5.201 when the proposed contract action is for utility services other than telecommunications services and only one source is available; therefore, the solicitation will not be advertised through the Federal Business Opportunities website. See F.A.R. 5.202 (a)(5).
