- Description
- The Plant Division of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement to implement on-site planned maintenance agreements for four (4) Onan/Cummins Gas Generators. The specific serial numbers, coverage and terms are included in the solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation for this coverage will be issued on or about Aug. 9, 2011, under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The performance period will begin 09/01/11 for one year and include two (2) one year option periods. The Government anticipates the award of a fixed price Purchase Order on or about Aug. 30, 2011. The competitive solicitation, all amendments, and any questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation will only be available via the internet at the above website. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant Purchase Order. Potential offerors are requested to direct all questions via e-mail to randy.schroyer@nist.gov. To be eligible for award, offerors MUST be registered with the Central Contractor Registry: www.ccr.gov and have completed its representations and certifications found at http://orca.bpn.gov THIS REQUIREMENT IS SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES ONLY.
