- Justification and Approval for sole source UVIS Special Notice This is a special notice of intent to award sole source procurement in accordance with FAR 12.203 and FAR 13.5 with consideration given to FAR 5.202(a)(13) as supplemented to Perceptics Imaging Technology Solutions to provide a surface mounted under-vehicle inspection system (UVIS) for the Security Forces Group. A surface mounted UVIS, a desktop PC with a server and two software licenses for use with UVIS, a monitor, a scene camera, installation, training and an on-site call out service warranty are included in the requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334519. The size standard for this NAICS code is 500 employees. This item will be provided to F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. The proposed action is for supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b). A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. This notice is for information only; it is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation for offers. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.
