- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, RI (NUWCDIVNPT) has a requirement for on-site installation of hardware components in support of Code 1149 ™s NEwport Real-time Digital Signage (NERDS) system. The installations shall be completed in accordance with the Installation/Mounting and Cable Connectivity Instructions. Some hardware components will be provided to the Contractor and other components shall be purchased by the Contractor for final on-site installations at NUWCDIVNPT. This acquisition will be processed using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS Code 238210, size standard $14M. Installation shall be completed within eight (8) weeks of contract award. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract is anticipated including two (2) options. Evaluation will be based on Best Value methodology. A detailed Statement of Work; the Installation/Mounting and Cable Connectivity Instructions; the evaluation factors including Technical Capability, Past Performance, and Price; and other applicable documents will be released upon issue of RFP N66604-11-Q-3401. Requirement includes one (1) site visit which will be detailed in solicitation Clause L25. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is 8/31/2011. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for award.
